    Wiring schematics

I am looking to add fuel gauges to my upper helm but need to know how to wire, sender type, etc.
I know the oil sending units need to be dual station, which I have ordered.
Questions - Does the fuel sending unit (in the tank) need to be dual station? Is there such a thing?
Do the existing wires just need to be extended to the upper helm? or run new wires from the tank to the upper helm?
Is there a wiring diagram link I can see?

Here’s a link to the manual

Having never seen a fuel gauge on the upper helm of any Bayliner, I can’t help with the sending unit concern. You may try contacting Faria-Beede, the manufacturers of the gauges as to how to proceed.

Interesting, my 4087 only has fuel gauges on the upper helm., although there are wires for gauges at the lower helm.

I have seen folks add gauges to either location and use a switch to power the station they want to read from negating the requirement for dual station senders/gauges.

P/C Pete - thanks for the link will definitely help.
SuperiorDiver - any schematics for the switch setup?

A better alternative might be to get a Noland RS11 CANbus Engine Data Converter. Wire it to the existing fuel gauges and connect it to NMEA 2000 backbone wire going to a chart plotter in the fly bridge. Then you can set up the chartplotter to display fuel level. The nice thing about this unit is that you can connect it to a number of other gauges and also show that data on a chartplotter.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I do not have any schematics of the set ups, just verbal description that they did it.
