How to carry Paddleboards on a 4788?-gctid824653

I am looking for idea's on how to carry a couple of paddleboards? I remember seeing some idea's on the forum, but cannot find anything via search? Does anyone know of a product that can attach to my bow rails on a Bayliner 4788?

west marine has a couple options, . https://www.westmarine.com/search?Ntt=sup+rack I was at west marine 2 weeks ago and saw a different model than what is shown on their website, which was basically 2 pieces of 3/8" x 2" flat bar aluminum that was bent into large J shaped hooks to hold/support 2 SUP boards on edge.. both supports had a hole in each end of the flat bar to take a bungie or rope for securing the boards to the brackets (they may have a velcro strap included in the kit but I didnt look too close at it)

what caught my eye about it, is that I built my own that is almost identical to it a couple months ago., but only for 1 board instead of 2. I still have not decided if I want it mounted on my swim platform or along the side of the boat outboard of the cockpit.... I dont want it attached anywhere on my foredeck, as that would hinder the view out of my little 25 footer when navigating from the lower helm...

            These look really good.

I have been toying with my options. I carry two SUPs on the bridge next to the dinghy. They are just lying on the floor and are pretty much out of the way. But it collects dirt and dust under them and I have to stand on them when launching the dinghy. I was considering this same style holder for 2 but I worry it breaks up the lines of the boat which I love. Yes vein I know.

I have considered putting them on the railing up on the bridge so the bow keeps its nice flow.

            Anyone mounted these up top?

We carry kayaks on the sides with racks attached to hand rails putting the kayaks up just below the fly bridge. No reduction in visibility, but does make traversing the sides of the boat a bit more difficult (not that is was very easy before).

So far it has worked well for us.

Current rack arrangement involves standard kayak roof racks mounted on a couple BBQ mounts. Ultimately, I would like to have something custom made, but wanted to make sure we liked the location first.

Nice that's kind of what I was looking at but a little further aft the 77 has railing alongside the cockpit entrance door and was thinking there.

                Thanks for sharing.

Garhauer has some paddle board racks that bolt to your existing stanchions.

The Garhauer racks are very well made but I feel the Magma ones are more flexible regarding mounting options. I use Magma racks to carry two kayaks on the hardtop rails of my boat.

I use the Garhauer racks to carry a single-person kayak but I imagine that a couple of paddleboards would also fit.
