Davits for a 3818-gctid824458

I have a 3818 1988 Bayliner motoryacht, Getting it refitted and the little things fixed have been a challenge.

Next step, is I bought a usded 10 ft Caribe inflatable dinghy.

Any 3888 or 3818 owners have suggestions for a simple davit system to store this dinghy on the swim step ?

Are you thinking flat or vertical, with or without the motor mounted. Simple then becomes launching and retrieval completely set up or strip the equipment and tip it up with something like a Weaver mount.

I'm thinking vertical with a motor swivel. I've watched several videos on weaver davits but how well

does the glue hold bonding to a 10 Caribe PVC.

How often does the snaps come loose ?

Weaver snap davits are a great product. Ive had them on PVC and Hypalon inflatables with no bonding issues. I would recommend against a motor swivel on an inflatable unless the davits have an arm that supports the transom.
