We are removing the bowsprit from our 4587 and plan to relocate the spotlight (actually a new one since the old one is kaput). Does anyone know what the gizmo is in the photo where the red arrow is pointing? Looks like a 12V outlet from a distance but someone said that it was a place to put a spotlight.

I did this for my spotlight on my 3870. I posted a photo of it back a few months ago. Some members were not happy with the looks, but it works great. I put a wireless remote spotlight on it. I did have to run a wire carrying 12V up the back side of the pole. If I had really thought about it I could have run the wire inside he pole.

Maybe he wants to remove the pulpit and mount the spotlight on the flybridge front, hence the need for an angled mount.

The 39 spotlight is on the bow sprit.I wonder if one was added after market to the front of the flybridge.

Does anyone know where to find an angled mount for a spotlight for the front of the fly bridge for a 3988?
