I am thinking of putting a set of St Croix 401 davits on the swim platform of our 1991 4588. The Owner's Manual says the weight limit for the swim platform is 400 Lbs. The dinghy and one person would crowd that limit. Does anyone have experience with davits mounted on their swim platform? Any Pros/Cons and/or advice would be appreciated.
