    Key Blank-gctid822835

Trying to get some keys cut for my main Salon Door. I only have 1 ! The key is a Silca MLB1

Man, I can't find anywhere online that sells them without going wholesale and having to buy 50 and just called three locksmiths that were no help.

Anyone know a place that carries the blanks. I think the lock may be made by Mobella. though not sure will check tonight.

I had the same issue when trying to get duplicates for our salon door, this place was able to do it but it was the most expensive key I ever had to get done. They're really proud of this key blank!

Thanks. Will try them. I actually found one supplier called CLK supply online that seems to have them but guess I won't know if it's the right blank until it turns up here.

Willgive those guys a call anyway.

If it is the same Mobella as mine, I am told Harley Davidson dealers have them. Not sure if correct, but worth a call.

The Mobella key blanks are made by Southco in the US.

There are two styles 800 series is (MBL1R) the same as Harley. 900 series is (MBL1) the opposite to Harley.

The good news is that they are used extensively in RV's and boats.

I had a key with the 900 number on it and walked in to a SeaRay parts dept and asked. Thye had 4 in stock for my boat

My buddy was with me and hauled out his key and they had 3 in stock.

You do not have the original key with the numbers on it but if you go to a motorhome or SeaRay dealer and get a sympathetic parts guy

he may haul out a box of precut keys to compare. there is only about 50 numbers.

            Yours is a 900 series.

If that does not work order a replacement lock from Southco with 4 keys. They will sell the tumbler system only and you can change it out yourself.

It is not that hard to do.

Southco Mobella latches and hardware, Carling switches and circuit breakers, Scandvik plumbing, Gemlux GEM hardware, Instrument gauge switch panels
