4788 Salon Valance Removal-gctid399305

I would like to remove the valance in the salon of my 2000 4788 to upgrade the window treatments. Any hints on how to accomplish this?

I just took down the entire valance system on our 45 recently to recover them with new fabric. Ours are L shaped with screws holding them in place inside the valance and screwed up into the ceiling. Not sure if the 47 is the same way?

Longer screwdriver, Phillips head on ours and they come right off. Have a helper to support the opposite end so you don't bend it or tear and rip at the screw holes.
