diesel price at Friday Harbour or Roche

I'm wondering if anyone has recently filled up at either of these places? I'd be coming from Sidney B.C.

Do a web search for Everett Marina fuel prices. They regularly publish a file with all the regional fuel prices.

We were just there a week ago, FH was $2.61 and Fiaherman Bay was $2.51. Both need to add 8% tax.

It did not seem to include Des Moines marina, usually the cheapest. Mon thru Wed an additional 10 cents off a gallon. Before I left home I paid right at $2 per gallon

And Kingston. Happiest fuel guy on the dock and recently was $2.20 for Diesel

I have good fortune to have Des Moines on my route N to the San Juans and Beyond. The are always the cheapest in the region. Last fill up a month ago was at $1.89 for 350 galls.

Do you guys tip the workers on the fuel dock? I was on a friend's big boat - he fuelled up 300 gallons and I went to pay and the guy there said it's proper etiquette to tip. Is this right? How much do you tip?
