I'm currently searching for a dinghy and davit system for my 3988. I'm leaning towards an approximately 10'-11' dinghy with euro helm and seating for four; trying to keep the overall weight of the dink below 400 lbs. In regards to the davit system, I need to minimize adding length to my 39 so it will probably have to be a system that secures the dinghy in a vertical position, such as the Seawise or Weaver Leaver. If any of you folks have either of these, please comment on likes/ dislikes. If you know of another system that works great, please shout out.
