I have a 800 lb PWC mounted on the bow of my 3870. The crane goes through the bow deck and is mounted to the floor in the forward bedroom. I know that some of the folks on this site don't approve. But this setup has worked for me for years.

I am not sure what make or model it is. It is rated for 1000 lbs. I got it from a friend that replaced it with a 1500 lb. lift. He got a new dingy that weighted 1200 lbs. It works great. The boat does tilt a little when lifting or lowering of PWC. But as you can see, it lay's down out of the way. I put two coat hooks using large hose clamps on the pole in the forward bedroom. Nice addition.
