Bayliner 3818 storage on ceiling of cockpit hard top-gctid815926

    Really enjoying our new 3818!

Learning exponentially about the boat from both this forum and lots of usage!

Summer is here and pool noodles, kayak and sup paddles, deck brushes, ropes, deck chairs find their way on the boat. Trying to find a place for everything and everything in its place... any suggestions?

Was thinking of a bungee strap system for the roof of the cockpit ? Anyone done this?

Kayaks (2) and stand up paddle board (1) lashed in the middle of the foredeck?

Folding chairs (6) folded and strapped to the transom?

Tim, I just transported two kayaks an a fully loaded ice chest to Catalina and back. There is a weight limit depending on the hard top manufacturer so I'd conform to that. No worries!

Tim, I'm with you now. I agree with you that bungee cords are quick and easy. I'd try cords with the plastic vs metal hooks to eliminate the rust factor. From starboard, I fabricated some fishing pole holders for the underside of the hard top.
