    3988 1995 Port alternator Hino W06-gctid814096

    Hi again,

This weekend I lost power on my bow truster because of a low battery. Analysis as shown that the battery was dead because not charging.

This battery is connected to the port alternator (starboard is supplying current to house batteries).

Anybody knows the part number (a part from Hino Marine Supply), I would like to get this one repaired but also buy a spare one. History with alternator as shown me that it is wise to have a spare.

    Thanks in advance
    Eric

The orignial alternators are extremely expensive. I had a Delco high output truck alternator built with the same physical dimemsions (it fit the space), pulley, electrical connections, mounting, etc for way less momey. I now carry the rebuilt OEM alternator as a spare.
