    Finding replacement 4788 breakers / ammeter?-gctid813996

    Greetings -

Our 4788 has a burnt out ammeter and 50A double-handle generator breaker (the result of a loos wire and a near meltdown) - and I am trying to find out where to get a replacement.

The local marine electrician said that the red handled breakers are no longer made, and he doesn't know where to find the matching red version.

One white breaker would stick out like a sore thumb - does anyone have any leads on where we can find a matching breaker?

Our boat is also missing the generator / dock power lock out sliders - any ideas on finding them?

    Picture attached:

    Cheers,

    - Chris

The dual pole 50 amp breakers are now only made in Black or White. Buy two and replace both Genny ones or both Shorepower ones to match. Then you will have a spare on board.

The Blue sea Lockouts are here. https://www.bluesea.com/products/412...e_2_pos_2_pole

If you look at all their offerings I am sure you will find the ammeter you need as well.

I see that single-pole 50A breakers are still available in red. It is a bummer that the dual-pole is not.

Any idea on finding old stock anywhere?

Or... Is it possible to transplant the red handles from the old breaker to the new?
