Run it hard put it away wet-gctid813694

So I had been keeping my 3870 in Ft Pierce FL but due to some work demands, I decided it was best to bring it back to Savannah and I had a short 4 day window to get it back.

Last friday I drove down with the dog co-pilot and did oil changes as they were due.

We spent Saturday Sunday and Monday running 90% of the time at 90% throttle on this 30 year old boat for 10-12 hours a day. 370 nautical miles.

The Hinos did not miss a beat.

    Such a great powertrain.

Here's a pic of us poking our bow out in the atlantic at the north end of cumberland island.

So awesome...I agree 100% the Hino take licking and keep on ticking. Very simple engines that run and run.

I like it! I though my 8 hour run was impressive... but the fact the hinos didn't miss a tick is impressive
. . .It places the lotion in the Basket. . .and that basket happens to be in a 1987 Bayliner 3870 w/ Hino 175's
