I started this project last fall. I removed the bunks (keeping them for resale) and I'm building a system that will stand alone with minimal structural support and tie in without doing much damage.
I've designed it to take a 6 pack refer and a 12v chest refer along with bulk storage.
My hope is it will stay organized and not be the catch all the bunks are.
Lot's of space there, but it adds to the port list.
I left the bunks in place and hung a pole with carbineers from the bunk "D" brackets to create an over-flow closet. My wife just keeps adding "crap" to the over-flow closet to make sure it over-flows!.
