We are looking to rent a slip for 8 days late July for our 18 ft Trophy fishing boat around Roche, but not $$Roche$$ while we move our the SJ's in our 4788... any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations.. for others who have done the same. This would allow us not to motor back to Anacortes to store our fishing boat...
Unless you find a private slip that someone is willing to rent, the only other slips close to Roche Harbor are at Snug Harbor Resort: http://www.snugresort.com.
Another alternative would be to take the boat on the trailer to San Juan island via ferry and launch/retrieve the boat whenever you use it. Roche harbor has a launch ramp and may have boat/trailer storage. San Juan County Park on the west side of the island has a boat launch, but you would have to find a place to store the boat/trailer. Also, San Juan County Park requires that you take some training and get a permit: http://www.sanjuanco.com/921/San-Juan-Island.

I can't decipher your typo (proofreading and editing can be your friend!). If you are looking to keep your boat near Roche Harbor, Fisherman Bay and Friday Harbor are two options. Maybe use craigslist to find a slip you can sublet?
Thanks...Eagle Eye Rob.....I corrected my typo! This was posted before my Lasik surgery last week! Today, this would never occur! LOL. Thanks for your suggestions!
