    3288 Bow Roller-gctid811675

I've got a 2 1/4" bow roller on my 95 3288. Can someone tell me where to find a replacement or some kind of upgrade. The boat came with anchor chain and it's really wearing on the roller. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

I pulled a wad of net through my roller this week end and broke my roller on my 38 they should be the same could not find one as I think they start out as 3 X 21/4 so I ordered a piece of Delrin to make one if you know some one with a lathe pretty strait fwd you can buy a foot material for around $30

My bow roller was toast when I bought my 88 3218 and I couldn't find the exact size so I bought one close to the same diameter and cut one of the ends to fit in the channel. If you buy a V roller you'll have to cut equal on both ends so the V sits in the middle.

Double check the dimensions, and you can get this roller from multiple sources (including in Canada), but this is a direct replacement and it's literally a 15 second job to replace it:

I just ordered this one for my 4550 last week as the old one was broken and not working anymore:

I ordered the 755U model that is 2 1/2" diameter and 1 3/4" wide with a 3/8" diameter rod hole in the middle. I have not installed it yet as we were too busy having fun on the lake this weekend to do it but it looks to be an exact fit based on my measurements. Also- it is hard plastic instead of rubber that I think will last longer than a softer rubber roller but we shall see. It was only $11.99 on amazon....

FYI I just installed the new roller on my 45. It fits perfectly and took 5 minutes.
