1980(39)s era Westerbeke 12.5KW generator NAPA oil filter?-gctid809403

HI all,

Alas, I am not at the boat. I need to pick up an oil filter for my westerbeke 12.5KW generator for my 4550 tomorrow on my way to change the oil. By chance does anyone know the napa or equivilent spin on oil filter for this generator? It's a 1987 model year- original to my 1987 boat.

If someone happens to know off the top of their head that would be great- would possibly save me an extra trip to the boat to confirm then running back out to auto parts store to fetch the filter!

I've got a 1996 12/5 Westerbeke and it takes a Baldwin B179 or Fram PH3593. Don't know if that will work for you or not...but it might be a good guess :-).

1987 era 12.5KW Westerbeke generator uses a Napa 1324 which cross referenced to Fram it looks to be a Fram PH2977a. Wix filter replacement is Wix 51324.
