Ok, so I just received my Jabsco impellers from Marine pump...really good price.
This is the first time I am not using Hino impellers, but the Jabsco,s did not come with the gasket for the cover. The Hinos always had the gasket in the box.
What do you do for gaskets when using the Jabsco impeller?

I can supply a rebuild kit for these pumps with new water seals, lip seal, impeller, and bearings. These can be fitted with no machining or adaption of the pump body and allows you to keep your original pump. I understand the major problem with these pumps is the water seal is now obsolete rendering the whole pump obsolete if it is leaking from the shaft seal. You can contact me at [email protected] for more details. You can get your engineer to install the kit or you can easily do it yourself if you do your own maintenance. The kit and installation is a fraction of the cost of trying to adapt an aftermarket pump to fit the engine or doing expensive machining to adapt another type of water seal.

You can make them out of .2mm gasket paper by tapping the paper laid over the pump very lightly with a ball hammer to get the outline right then finish off with a craft knife or contact Earl on this forum. It seems he has heaps of them made. I can do an impeller but looks like you have much cheaper options in the US. Jabsco number 31130-0061.
I can do a seal kit for $105NZD plus freight. This is for two water seals (this puts two seals in each pump) and one lip seal for the bearings. The other parts you can most likely get cheaper locally or on line.
