I was one of the renewal early birds and just got the paperwork back. FWIW, if your vessel is documented, WA has dropped your WN number and put the documented number in it's place. Your WN number can no longer be found on the certificate. Not a big issue unless you have a tender less than 10 HP, which is used strictly for ship to shore, and displays your WN vessel registration number with a -1 after it. Olympia is sorting it out, but no clear answer yet. I'll post responses when available.

I get to go through the title less dinghy mine field this year. The dinghy was part of the purchase but not named in any of the paperwork or survey. I caled the state and the numbers on the dinghy have no history.....great. I wasn't worried about it because the Admiral hasn't been willing to get into a hard bottom inflatable much less a hard shell Livingston. I told her that the dinghy for the sale pending boat wasn't included in the sale so I plan to put it on Craigslist. She asked if we have a dinghy for our "new" boat and I said yes, it's in front of the boat at Dagmar's. Because we haven't used one in years, why bother haul it and pay for it in added boat length at every Marina. Then the bomb.....I didn't say I wouldn't get in one......game over. I'm looking for a hard bottom with a big a## motor.
Btw, they are also sending out notices to owners who's manufacturers numbers no longer conform to the USCG format. I got one for my sale pending boat, a 1980 Encounter with the manufacturer number stamped in the transom.
