The 4 tachs on my 2001 4788 are off and I want to calibrate them. Has anyone done this w/the stock tachs? Is it an easy job or do I need a Cummins diesel tech? Do I need special hand held tach? Your help is greatly appreciated

Purchase 2 digital tachs from Aetna engineering and calibrate your other 2 to it.

Good advice from Larry if you want to upgrade (that is what i did). If you want to stick with the original Faria tachs, you will need to buy or borrow a handheld optical tach to see what the actual RPM is, and then calibrate to it. They are cheap, however, and easy to use - here's one from eBay:

If you have the Faria operators manual i believe it has calibration instructions.
