If you have not found a key, see my post on 47 key. I think early 47s used the same key as my old 38.
    Started boating 1965
    Bayliners owned: 26 Victoria, 28 Bounty, 32, 38, and 47 since 1996

What is the 3rd picture of?

I posted this thread a couple years ago. It allows you to identify what key you may need. Keep in mind the lock cassettes when you remove them have a number stamped on them that identifies the key needed. Also, Bomar/Pompanette no longer is offering them and I have not found another place that will but I keep hearing the Bayliner dealers are.

The third picture is of the # 9 key looking from the end into the key (end elevation) in draftsman's terms. To take that photo I stuck a 5/16" bolt into the hole at the end so I could take the photo with out having my fingers in the pix. So the # 9 key is here for anyone who can use it. I will send it for free anywhere in the USA or Canada

Collaboration is the KEY. Pardon the pun.

I have FINALLY after 2 1/2 years solved my key problems thanks to one of the other members who recommended The Brass Works. Thanks to SaZz, I have 3 # 6 keys that actually open the salon door on our 3818. WOOHOO Call SaZz and she might deliver you from evil. [email protected].

Aside from that fact that it was 104 degrees here in Savannah Ga we are VERY happy to have solved the 'KEY PROBLEM'

When we got the boat it only had 1 key... Locksmith wanted 30.00 a key and we wanted 2 more keys. Talked to a different locksmith and he said, Bring the lock in and he changed the inside of the lock so you can put ANY SKELETON type of a key in and it will lock the door and un-lock, this cost was 25.00 and other keys were 3.00 each.
