There was a post, maybe more than one identifying who was still selling/making numbered salon door keys for 47 Bayliners. Have not found it via a search. Can someone identify the company and part number if possible? In the past the locksmiths I have checked have not been able to find a blank to match. This may be the same key type used for the 38 and 45 Bayliners and possibly others. Thanks in advance.

North Harbor Diesel in Anacortes had some made for my 47, but they had one key to start with.
I think they had them cut at the ace hardware in Anacortes, but you could check with Justin at North Harnbor to make sure.

It's good to have a cheaper source.

Mike, If you are going to the 1000 Islands this year and have the key number in 800 or 900 series.
Henderson's in Alex bay has most numbers in stock.
Both Dennis and I got three OEM keys each in minutes at $6.00 ea.
I also got a complete new door lock cylinder and two keys from Southco, The US Mobella Licensee, shipped to a local Canadian dealer for under $50.
Caution, Hendersons can be a candy store for boaters, I spent a grand before I left.
The standard Bayliner Meridian sliding door lock is a Southco MM-01-110-10
Page 7 of this pdf, a local southco dealer can order parts like a new lock cylinder.

OK, I was referring to the newer aluminum sliding doors. I know that key from my old 3288 with the wooden door.

The newer 47's had the keys discussed http://www.baylinerownersclub.org/fo...8-key-for-3988 but the older 1995 and maybe 96 ones had the keys used on 32's. Search keys for 32's http://www.baylinerownersclub.org/fo...=skeleton+keys
1989 26' then 1994 32' now 2001 39'
