Does anyone know if the 1999 or 2000 4788 come standard with engine syncronizers for either the 330 or the 370 cummins engines?

a dial type synchronizer was part of the premium nav package that was available on either engine,,,it worked with a signal supplied by the tachs and wasn't that great,,you had to play with the throttles to get it to stay at the centre,,,not like true electronic synchronizers..

You wouldn't by any chance, know of a source for instructions on how to use the factory syncronizer?

I orderd one from Faria for my 490. Installed it last year. It seems to work better at higher rpms than lower. The 490 was pre-wired for it so it was a simple install.

I have the armstrong model syncronizer and sound stabilizer (the admiral's ears). It works every time, and takes no batteries.

there are no instructions that i know of.....the idea is to keep the needle in the centre by tweaking the throttles,,,
