    FALSE ALARM (starboard engine)-gctid737193

During our sea trial at wot, the engine alarm for the starboard Man 610 sounded twice. The man mechanic in the engine room could not explain why it went off but that the engine temperatures were perfect.

The mechanic was not concerned at all while on the other hand I wonder could this be a faulty sending unit, sensor, etc on its way to going bad.

BTW, will speak with the supervisor at RDI, the Man folks, tomorrow. In the meantime, what's your take.

    Thanks,JOE

    I would check/replace the thermostat.
