    Aft window leaks on 32xx-gctid388264

Hello everyone, I remember a member talking about a leak at the aft fake window area that ran down to the aft cabin, I do not remember the remedy, if it was the actual window frames, or the fake one, have that problem on both sides, any help wpoild be greatly appreciated.

The leak comes from the black acryl panel being sealed to the frame with some king of goo that fails after 20 years. The remedy is to move away the starboard door frame by removing the 4 or 5 screws holding it then sliding away the inside teak panel (the one which is part inside, part outside the door frame) to access the black panel from the inside and re-seal it properly. Not a long job. I think someone posted some pics of the work .

I have the same problem with my 1988 3218. Resealed the black panel from the outside but not confident i resolved the problem.

Hope someone identifies the original thread with pictures.

pretty sure R & J on the bay posted about this for the 32xx.. If I remember right the leaks come from the radar arch (might be the 38xx) and there are several steps involved to fix..

Search around the site and you will find many threads about this issue.
