  • New Boat Is Home-gctid387790

We closed on a 3270, 1985 with Hino 110's, yesterday and brought it home to Hoonah from Juneau. Weather was overcast with scattered showers, but we had a great trip. The family is looking forward to exploring Southeast AK and sharing with visting family and friends. I appreciate members answering my earlier questions and I'm sure I'll come up with more.Hope everyone has a great weekend,Kelly

        Kelly:

Enjoy the new boat. Stopped in Hoonah on the way north 5 years ago (Anacortes to Whittier). Lovely place to live/boat - Lots of Dungees, King Crab, Shrimp, and Salmon to catch/eat, not to mention those plentiful and wonderful eating deer you have in Southeast.

When we went through Cross Sound have never seen so many whales. It was scary there were so many - be careful.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. We're really looking forward to more adventures. I took the family our yesterday for a few hours in Port Frederick. We had a great afternoon. Saw several whales, porpoises and sea lions. Weather was great and the water was flat. We did a little fishing up by Neka Bay. My 12 year old ended up with this 77# halibut.
