in counter blender Nutone food processor model 250/251 for 4588

Hello,

I'm looking for one of these blender, that mount in the counter top. Mine, the switch, which pulls up and rotates to control the speed of the blender. I have checked with Nutone and the part is no longer available, no surprise there.

Has anyone retro fitted something? Are is one out there that you want to get rid of?

I have been all over ebay. Might have found someone in CA, that wants me to send the unit to him. will fix for $125. Not feeling warm and fuzzy about that. I did find a replacement, 1000W unit with a lot if attachments for $549.00 on Ebay. It supposed to drop right in where the old one was.

Perhaps someone has remodeled their salon or galley and didn't re-install and would sell it.

I have one in Olympia, WA. I've never used it in 12 years of owning the boat.

It worked when I bought it but I'll have to test it to make sure it still runs.

I won't be on the boat until June or July.

Our boat came missing the blender unit but with a working countertop unit. My wife found an inexpensive replacement blender for ours and it was a perfect fit on Amazon. Be sure to check there as well. May have the under counter unit available as well.

Here is a link to a new motor unit on Amazon and it uses the same blender attachment that we bought for our old motor so it should work with your older blender. Not cheap but a brand new option that's readily available.

So I know this is an old post and chances are no one is following but I had the same issue with the Nutone blender switch so I 3d printed a replacement part. Hasn't been in long so no promises on the long term but it seems to work fine. If you know anyone with a 3D printer I can share the STL file

I remember ordering a new blender pitcher that included the lid and chopper blade base a few years ago for $40. I’ve used that blender 2 times to make Margaritas. That’s $20 per Margarita pitcher plus tequila and mix! This item was state of the art galley luxury (25 years ago!).
it is now a collectors item along with my Whirlpool Microwave!

Btw: have checked to see if the electric panel switch for the blender is flipped on? The could be a corroded connector on that in-counter switch. That switch is a catch basin for countertop water.

Thanks, the unit worked fine, you just had use pliers to turn it on. Now it works with the switch the way it should, whether we use it or not is another thing. Being in AZ and having both an ice maker and the blender I think Margaritas will be a must

I am completely impressed with the advances in technology that make replacing obsolete plastic parts possible!

You need to come to Mexico for the best margaritas!!!!!
