    EH700 max rpm 2850?-gctid381384

We had a broker tell us that there were 2 different EH700's produced. One spun at a max of 3050 rpm and the other at 2850.

Can anyone confirm that or has anyone ever heard even a rumor of this?

Looking in the Hino database, and from what I've read anyone post...it all says max rpm of 3100.

    Please help?

    Thanks

First rule of boating, never trust a broker. He was probably selling a boat that either had bad tachs, had issues with drag, engine issues or was over propped.

    Bayliners owned: 26 Victoria, 28 Bounty, 32, 38, and 47 since 1996

The Hino workshop manual data & spec sheet reports 3,000 rpm is max speed at full load for both EH700 (naturally aspirated) and EH700TI (turbocharged & intercooled) models. The performance curves for both models start at 1,200 rpm and stop at 3,000 rpm for pleasure craft rating; both stop at 2,800 for work boat rating. Good luck, Doug S.
