Met with the broker today and we got to go on our first 3888. It was a 1990 3888. The wife and I really loved the size of the interior. Unfortunately the interior was a mess due the the boat still being in its winter storage mode. That made it hard for me to get a perceptive of the how it looks all together.

So we got to start on getting our boat sold first and then work on the process of getting our new to us 3888.

I've owned my 1990 3888 since 2001 and have loved every minute of it! Made the "trip of a lifetime" in 2003 when the Admiral and I spent two months cruising from Seattle-Ketchikan-Juneau-Hoonah-Sitka-Seattle. Great boat for the money and there are some super buys on the market right now.

Anchorage craigs list 38 bayliner 400hr 315 hp Cummings/new gears

68,000 I would have bought it instead of a 3370, but i only have a 32 slip.

Weird thing there are NO SLIPS in or around South centeral alaska (Anchorage) Alaska has more money and more shore line than any other state and they cant build new Harbours??????

Dont understand your post

all slips are full, tranist is the only thing going. with up to 15yr waiting list

so if you think i can get a full time 40Ft slip in homer,seward,whittier today

I have been in that seward harbor since 1989, slips can be had, but you must get on the list, then if you have a boat and no slip, then walk the docks and find empty slips and talk to the harbor, and or the slip holder. I am not mis-informed!! Whittier is another story.

I never had a problem finding a slip when I needed one prior to having a slip, the waiting list may seem long, but, if someone is on the list and the name comes up, they only have a short time to confirm they actually have a boat, if not, the harbor will go to the next name on the list, and keep going. Talk to the harbor office and you may be able to get a temp slip, sometimes for the season. You will not ever have a 15 year wait in Seward, slips are not transferable. transiet may also be in a permanent slip with power if the slip holder is out of the water or on a long cruise. BEEN THERE DONE THAT.
