I'm re-modeling my 4788. Any advice on how to attack the old built in salon seating? Re-covering verses replacing? Do I have to remove the end table on forward starboard side of sofa if I buy a new sofa? I'm also looking at a product called I-Coat to recover the counter tops. You can make it look like any surface you want.No removing of surfaces required. Has any one used this product?

Recovering the salon settee would be the easiest.
Anotyher option would be to remove it completely, finish out the walls with teak and use standard household furniture.
The only challenge would be getting it in the salon door.
Personally I like the storage under the salon setee. Thats where I keep many of my spare parts, and the inverter.
