Best location for shoot thru hull transducer on 38XX?-gctid377411

    Hi Guys,

Where in the hull bottom of a 38XX is there core? Is there core under the forward stateroom? How about under the galley? Obviously I'm looking for a good location without core.

    Thanks!

Galley location, or between the port engine stringer and the keel. I have one on both port and stb sides there, better performance, especially when speed is more than 8-10 knots.

No core, be sure to buy the proper size fairing and cut it so the transducer is shooting straight down.

Galley for me too. As far ahead of the thru hulls for the heads as you can and as close to center as you can in that compartment below the stove.
