    32xx Water Tank Ronco 308b-gctid376939

Hello. I am purchasing a Ronco 308 b water tank to replace my original aluminium water tank. Does anyone know if you able to bring it into the rear cabin through the door, or do you have to bring it in through the window frame. I cut the old tank in three pieces and brought it out through the cabin.

A fellow 32xx owner at my yacht club pulled his tank out through the side window, i.e. up the stairs and straight out. Also re-installed the same way.

It did not look possible, but it worked. I think some cussing was involved however.

If your new tank is the same size, that may work for you.

I posted on my install of the RONCO B308 and am embarassed to say I can't quite remember. I wasn't as bright as you in cutting up the old (and wasn't sure it was toast) so went out the rear window. I know I took the Ronco in and got it down into the master berth vertically and pretty sure I made the transition to horizontal from that position. Sorry can't give you better details.

Thanks Dean, I read all your post and appreciate all your pictures that you have posted in your previous 32xx postings. I decided to replace my tank with a Ronco 308b.*
