There are side access panels in the port side cupboards next to the stove where you can look in and see the hose from the engine vent and the deck drain hoses.
One leak that I discovered was starting at the aluminum angle at the back of the pilot house side window on the port side. The pilot house gutter ends at the angle and it was dumping in rainwater because there was no caulking at the top. I removed the angle and found that the fiberglass molding is open behind it. You don't have to take off the angle but make sure it is sealed at the top and down the sides. That only stopped the flood into the foot of the guest bed.
I was also able to check the hoses and drains during a rain and found that there is a drip running down the 3 inch vent hose coming off the bottom of the engine vent and dripping just near the thruhull for the deck drain on the monkey fur. I don't see how to remove that engine vent to see how to seal it up. It would be nice to just seal and cover it up with a nice panel since the 4788's don't even have a vent there.
