i(39)m going to do my heat exchanger and risers on my port engine-gctid371701
Hi guys I'm going to do my heat exchanger and risers on my port engine so how do I get the couch out of the way so I can get the floor hatch up. Do i have to take the back off also Its a 1990 45 pilothouse thanks.
On our 45 you can lift them without removing he couch.
If you have to remove the couch then you need to take it out insections. I believe there are a total of three. Lift the cushions and you will see screws that go into the floor. There are screws also that go up into the ledge behind the couch. I haven't done it but I know that Ducksoup has.
Google a blog called But* Ugly Boat. One of our distinguished members here. They went into great detail on how to remove the couch.
