    Marine Air System-gctid370320

I have the Ecu Maxx system, and the control panel has a faulty display. With one of the red lights that make up the display not working, its hard to read what the fault "number" is. While I will swap from the main cabin, to try to fix my not working issue, I was surprised to see a replacement control panel is some $420.00. Any one know a cheaper source?

    Cheers

Thanks, they do have a few, however not the same as I have. Not sure if they are interchangable.

This unit is identical to the one in 4087, which is 1997 vintage....Your boat must be a bit newer>>>>

Thanks Trev. That does look like it, only ours is black. Odd that I could not find it. While cheaper that $420, at $199, thats still an ouch.

Here is a PDF on the system from Dometic and I think they have the control switch you are looking for in here

The link below is to find a dealer, you may have to buy it from the US being 120V system.

You have probably looked here before but just my 2 cents worth if you haven't, good luck with it

Jeff and Trev, thank you both for your kind offers. At this stage, I am goiing to swap units, in an attempt to isoloate what the problem is with the one unit, and then decide where to go from there. At $200 its still a bit pricey.

I have a mate that has a container coming from Whiting, ID just about every month, so for non urgent items, I get shipped there. Every now and then I stumble across a business that will not take an international credir card, so that adds to the degree of difficulty. Trev, now you will have to expand on what business you have here in Brisbane. Use PM if you like, you have *****ed my curiosity. If you visit again, you wll have to let me buy you a beer.

                      Cheers
