I havea 1980 inboard with twins. When I was looking for new rudders I found the actual manufacturer of bayliner rudders for my boat.

I can't remember who that was. They were made some where on the east coast or around the great lakes.

No its not marine hardware in redmond Washington. I have been talking to them for new ones but they want measurements and angles. Here is the problem I need 2 new prop struts but mine are all bent up and can't be used for measurement. I was hoping to find original manufacturer.

So I called algonac. I told them what I need they said they didn't make the strut im looking for they did how ever tell me where the part # was placed on their struts so I sand blasted off 32 years worth of bottom paint. I gave them a part #of and they said yes they made that. The best part is they only want $260to for the strut. Marine hardware wanted $7-800 for one. I purchased 2 sets as it takes a month to get them.

Come to find out that the strut had been made 2 years before the boat was even manufactured thus no we didn't make that for that year.
