    manicooler painting-gctid368799

    HI

I removed my manicooler for cleaning. I doubt arises with removable heads. Would it be convenient to paint the inside?. I know from what I read in this forum that the right thing would be to apply a ceramic coating, but in my city can not be found who can apply.

    Thanks

I would not paint- first getting good adhesion would be nearly impossible. Secondly it would mess with heat transfer between exhaust runners and the coolant.

Before I get a nit pick yes I know the purpose here isn't to cool exhaust but I still don't think it would be a good idea to change this.

      Kwb,

http://baylinerownersclub.org/media/....jpg[/img] maybe I expressed myself badly, I mean the covers that appear in the image attached to references 171698,17169A. I think not in principle restrict the cooling paint (ignoring the transmission with the outside air engine). The reason for wanting to paint them is that they are somewhat corroded on the inside.

A-ha. Those parts should be okay to paint so long as you get a really good prep on them and use a catalyzed paint.
