I'm thinking of upgrading to 3/8" hi-test chain.

Anyone have a gypsy for a muir cougar they'd like to sell?

Its stamped with a #112.

I wasn't paying too much attention, but I recall the last time I was at Second Wave that they had a few gypsys laying in a pile near where all the winches were. Might give them a call or drop by.

Thanks...yup, I've been thru that pile a couple of times but nothing that matched.

I was hoping to find one at the Fisheries swap meet, but missed it due to an unexpected trip out of town.

I have a Muir windlass, that is a HR1200 Cougar model.

The gypsy is the wheel that the chain fits into (also called the chainwheel)

The gypsy is sized to fit specific types and sizes of chain.

Right now I have 5/16" BBB chain, but was thinking of going to 3/8 High Test.
