    Shower Sump Pump on 4550-gctid365793

My water system is back up and running, replaced the pump and everything is flowing fine.

I tried the shower in the aft bathroom and it runs fine, then i noticed it was not draining, i hear no pump turning on.

Where is the sump pump for the bathroom located? I noticed a pump in the access door at the bottom of the stair, just aft of the bathroom. Is that it?

I put power to it and it wont run.

    Thanks!

On the 45 there is usually a red rocker switch vertically mounted under the sink on the outside.

    Try turning that switch 'on'.

    Hope this helps

Same on our 1987- the red rocker switch next to the head turns on the pump for the guest shower but you have to make sure the breaker is turned on @ the 12V panel in the pilothouse. Ours is ridiculously loud! The pump itself is located under the master bathtub.

Ahh.. the blank space to the left of the flush button with a couple of wires sticking out! I guess i need to hook up a switch there, look like the PO took it out.

In the master head there is a red switch, i should have noticed that, just dont go in there much.

So woodsong, you say the pump is under the master tub? Any idea how i get in there?

Also, I wonder what the pump in the access at the bottom of the stairs is for?

Behind the sliding glass doors in the hall fwd of the vacuumn. It is a diaphram pump with an eccentric pumping action - touch the wires and see which one actuates.

"Also, I wonder what the pump in the access at the bottom of the stairs is for?"

Should be two in there - 1. regular bilge pump off of automatic switch set up about 4" in that area. & 2. Another diaphram type pump used to 'strip' that bilge dry at the bottom runs off of a manual switch at the helm.

FWIW - your helm has indicator lights for all of these bilge pumps and more

          Hope this helps
