    3870 for sale...-gctid342445

If interested, have a peek over in the for sale section:

We are moving up to a larger vessel. In (hopefully) the final stages of negotiation post sea trial.

When it is a done deal, I'll share what it is.

    For now, two hints

    1. It is a pilothouse
    2. It is not a Bayliner

I will save for later my profound thanks for the advice and knowledge shared by members of this group.

    PM me with any questions.

... and we have agreed on final pricing and remediation of issues.

So, I feel I can share what it is:

1979 Ocean Alexander Mk I. Stabilized. Cat 3208s. etc...

We closed on the Mark I last Friday.

If anyone is interested, here is a small set of pictures taken during the survey and sea trial.

I want to take a moment to thank the members of BOC, and particularly the Motoryachts group, for the wealth of knowledge, freely offered. As many have said, in my opinion this is the finest boating forum out there. It certainly made owning my 3870 a pleasure. When I ran into a problem (as I often did), I knew that help was just a few keystrokes away.

        Thank you!

        Now, someone buy my 3870!

I dream of buying a trawler. I drool through every issue of PassageMaker magazine.

VERY nice example of the OA- looks immaculate. Fuel looks clean in the racors too- always a good sign. Big congrats on such a nice vessel.
