I need to varnish the galley and change the mesh on the cabinet doors. The galley floor and the trim above the galley window are high gloss varnish while the cabinetry drawers around the oven and sink appear to be a cherry satin finish. The rest of the interior wood on the 38 is in great shape so I am asking if anyone can recommend a cherry type satin varnish that wont clash with the rest of the boat. I have a bit of damage below the galley window on the wood and access hatch opening to the lower helm from the leaky galley window which is my next project to replace both the galley and midships stateroom windows.. Does anyone know where I can get the mesh type material for the galley storage doors underneath the sink and on the access hatch to the lower helm? I have a 1985 3870 and any input is as always greatly appreciated..
