Interesting about farms on the land at the base of the mountains. There must be groundwater that is within reach of wells. Thanks for the info. When we visited Cabo 20 years ago, there was a golf course along the road between San Jose Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. I remember commenting to the Admiral how obscene it was to have a lush golf course for wealthy Americans to play golf, but only saw dirt lots for the local Mexican kids to play soccer. Also, I remember the local native Mexicans. They were very small in stature with fine features. We thoroughly enjoyed Cabo. The Mexicans were super friendly and the chow was delicious.

This is how retired life is in Mexico for me.

This morning I woke up in this anchorage. Put on a cup of coffee, started the generator and watermaker.

It's a bit breezy this morning, and I will be surfing with a 15 kt tail wind back to La Paz. I have no reason to go back to La Paz, and no reason to stay here.

Tonight I'll go to the restaurant at the marina and have a margarita and chat with the other mariners. Perhaps later I'll go chase down a taco for dinner.

After working for 38 years I am pretty happy doing nothing.

Majority of the supplies in baja comes over from mainland (Matalan) via the very large ferries (they just announced they are adding two more)....https://www.bajaferries.com.mx/nuestra-flota
is pretty cool to watch huge semi driving out of the ships! (La Paz is where these off load and load).

The Bajaferries are beautiful ships. Certainly makes sense for groceries and goods to be transported by semis on the ferries. Just like our, and BC ferries. Thanks for the info.

By golly, I think that’s a old Bristol Channel Cutter! Talk about a rare beast. When one is talking the rule of KISS, you can’t beat one of those! Might not even have a engine, which means it doesn’t even have to be registered in most places in the world.
