Another perfect day in La Paz!

Today is yet another perfect day in La Paz!

Last night we watched the parade at the Carnaval, and today we are just relaxing.

Having a Margarita at the marina restaurant, and doing nothing important at all.

    Welcome to Margaritaville.

Tonight we are with Vicky's adult kids, Paloma and her fiancee Lino anchor's off the malecon to watch the festivities and listen to the music on the last night of the carnival.

The weather is near perfect, in the 70's with a light breeze.

it's close to 5:00 and time to make some Margaritas.

Thanks!!! Today we are heading out for more exploration up north.

Tonight we will stay in San Evaristo and tomorrow we will head north to the Loretto area.
We heard the yellowtail fishing is pretty good up there right now, and we want to try for some.

Kevin--how is LaPaz supplied with food, and everything else? Are the items barged in, shipped on freighters, trucked down the peninsula, even though the road is long and narrow, or air-freighted. With LaPaz, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo populations, I suspect 95% of everything is barged or freightered in????

I'm not sure how food gets here. I know a lot of the food comes form the mainland so I'll assume by ship. There is also a fair abount of food grown on the baja, more than you'd think. The mountains get a fair amount of rain and there are a lot of farms in the flat lands at the edge of the mountains.
