Good Morning from Isla San Francisco Baja California

Good morning world!!! This message brought to you by starlink.

We are anchor'd in a beautiful bay on Isla San Francisco.
Yesterday we caught a couple of Dorado and had fish tacos for dinner.
Today we will try to catch a few more fish and stop ofr the night at a different anchorage.
The water at about 70 is a bit too cold for comfortable snorkeling, but the weather is perfect for exploring the beach, and fishing.

On face value folks might not really appreciate your comment, but in reality you are 100% correct in many ways.

Mexican females are in general extremely compatible with American men. Mexico has a rampant fidelity problem with it's men, and every gal I know in Mexico has had her heart broken by a cheating man with a much younger woman. In American culture infidelity is frowned on. Of all the men I have come in contact with, extremely few have ever admitted to infidelity, even though it of course happens. Mexican men, again in general, enjoy conquest and telling their friends about it, something unacceptable in American culture.

Today is just a lazy day at anchor. We spent the night in San Evaristo and got rolled out of ther anchorage be a shift in the winds early in the morning.

Coffee in hand we came back to Isla San Francisco where we are just hanging out, doing laundry, and relaxing.

With the tide close to low, we are anchor'd in 11 feet of water, and the bottom is clearly visible.

Not this trip. I'm out for 5 nights and back in the marina for a bit.

This morning we are heading back to La Paz. We have been several nights at anchor during fantastic weather!

These photos show how the anchorages look from the outside.

The anchorages are a bit less protected than those in the PACNW. Generally you choose an anchorage that offers protection from the forecast wind direction.

Because of the limited protection the anchorages tend to be more rolly, and you will be anchoring in water that is very shallow to get behind some cover and out of the swell.

I typically anchor in 10-15' if it's low tide and a meter more or so if it's high tide. The bottoms are very good with generally sand bottoms.
