Breakfast in the Sea of Cortez

Life here is simple. We put out a line during morning coffee and caught a couple of fish for breakfast.

Nothing huge. Nothing for the record books. Simply good tasting fish for tacos.

        Whats not to like...

Warm water, beautiful sunsets, good fishing, fantastic food, wonderful margaritas, and if you are single beautiful women.

Oh, and I mention low cost of living

I have a few more years until I can do that full-time, but I will seriously be considering it.

I left the workforce as a single guy on my 60th birthday.

A lot depends on your responsibilities. i was living on my boat and had no bills. That put me in a position where I did not need much to retire.

Add a wife, kids, maybe a mortgage and you can easily be looking at your mid 60's or later. That's not good or bad, it just is.

                "What's not to like..."

Pretty much a 3rd world country and you can't drink the water, for starters. But I'm glad you like it, and it looks beautiful.

We made it back to La Paz last night. This was a short cruise. We'll re provision and leave for destinations north for a week long excursion later in the week.

La Paz is a wonderful town. I really like the Malecon area for happy hour margaritas.
