    My onboard office

My retirement officially starts in 8 more working days, but that is not the full story.

Two decades ago I started a business to help pay for my boating hobby. That business grew through a lot of hard work and has defined my last two decades of life.
In that time I have never worked a regular "day job", choosing work that gave me the time off to grow my business. That "day job" is what I am retiring from. My business goes on.

Over the years I have worked hard to make my business truly cloud based, in order to live my cruising dreams.

Here is my current office setup. I have everything one might need. VOIP office telephone, Computer, printer, etc....
My plan is to continue to run my business working approximately 2.5 days per week and with my Ex running it the other time.

This allows me to go cruising, which is expensive BTW, and never have to tap into my retirement savingss

That’s a good retirement plan. It keeps you engaged and your brain focused but at a relaxed level.

I think this is so inspiring. I might actually do this one day if I can play my second career right after retiring from my first.
