I believe the engineers really hit this one out of the park when they designed this model. This visibility from either flybridge or lower helm is wonderful. I love being able to get on both sides of the engines and access to the engine room. The interior features a pilot house feel with two stateroom and two heads which is important to cruising couples and guests. The Galley is up and even the Admiral gets to be in the conversation. The boat has a feel of a much larger vessel yet able to get to most marinas and state park buoys without much effort.

Croz,
That is pretty much how we ran the boat when we brought it down to Long Beach from Oakland; about 18 to 19 knots at 2200 rpm. Lately, I've been running the boat at approximately 11 to 12 knots at around 1600 rpm for better fuel economy but it's nice to be able to cruise at a faster speed if I want to. We recently had the boat hauled at Basin Marine boat yard in Newport Beach for bottom paint, new, oversized trim tabs, alignment, and some other work. When we ran the boat from Newport Beach back to Long Beach, we achieved 30 knots at WOT! This, of course, was with a nice, clean bottom and new 42" X 12" trim tabs.Alex
