Since the blower vents out I would face that vent grill aft. That would help to draw from the area while underway.
BTW - Coast Guard regs say that the blower exhaust should be seperated from the fresh air intake by at least 18". This is to prevent potentially explosive fumes from being drawn back into the boat.
So having a blower on each side and maintaining the 18" seperation would be difficult. But if the blowers had a seperate vent from the air intakes grills that would work.
