    Help installing canvas-gctid356349

    I'm really hoping someone might be able to help me. I bought a 1986 2450 Ciera Sunbridge last month. The previous owner kept it covered in a marina and so he never used the canvas. He did have the canvas though from the owner before him and he gave it to me. The problem is that he wasn't sure how it went together and after a couple of weeks, I still don't know how it goes together. It seems even more complicated because it looks like a few of the pieces of canvas were redone and might not have all the snaps and straps on it.

    This is what I have;

    One large U shaped pole with ends that are bent slightly. This looks like it fits on the aft pole supports.

    One medium large U shaped pole that has three pole connection ends on each side.

    A medium (length) U shaped pole.

    A small (short) U shaped pole.

    Two straight poles about 2' long with a slight bend at one end.

    One large piece of canvas that fits perfectly in the aft. It has the zippered doors and fits around the railing supports.

    One large piece of canvas that fits over the main cockpit are from the front windows and zips into the rear canvas piece. This section of canvas looks newer.

    Two long triangle window canvas sections that fit will on the sides by the windshield. These might be newer too because they don't have snaps to connect to the rear canvas piece.

    If anyone can help me figure this out, I would be very grateful. We've had a lot of rain here the last couple of weeks and the canvas is not on correctly and the cabin door needs repair, well, it ends up that I had 2" of water in the cabin because of the rain. I did buy new wood to build a new cabin door to better keep the rain out.

    Here's a side picture of the boat;

    Someone with a similiar boat will chime in. Hopefully with a picture.

      What luck i just took mine apart to sew some seams

      One large U shaped pole with ends that are bent slightly. This looks like it fits on the aft pole supports.

      This would be for the camper back i think

      One medium large U shaped pole that has three pole connection ends on each side.

      This would go in the back of the top

      A medium (length) U shaped pole.

      This one will go in the front

      A small (short) U shaped pole.

      And this one in the middle

      Mind is a bit bigger but it should be the same

      I hope this helps

        You're trying to help a really simple man and I simply can't picture what you're saying without a picture.

        Really though, a couple of pictures sure would go a long ways towards solving my problem.
